It may surprise you to know that Flexicovers has been around for 50 years, and during that time it has remained firmly a family affair.
Rick and Donia Gray started supplying Sunseeker just four years after they established their business in 1974, cementing their place as suppliers of high-end yacht covers. After that first ’28 Offshore’ the business continued to go from strength to strength, and with their son, David, and the current director, Bill Wilson, joining the team, Flexicovers was well and truly established.
It wasn’t long before Flexicovers won contracts to supply Princess and Fairline, and the business expanded, currently employing 40 people. As the UK’s number one cover manufacturer, Flexicovers demonstrates a passion for top quality innovative products, designed and manufactured from our state-of-the-art UK production facility at our factory in Poole, Dorset.
We are incredibly proud of our position as the only recognised supplier to all the UK’s major boat builders, as well as our worldwide shipping service. We work closely with boat builders in the design and manufacture of our covers, using CAD technology with 3D modelling capability, and utilise our extensive library of CAD templates to retro fit boat covers and Biminis.

A History of Quality
When Flexicovers was established in 1974, our product quality was immediately
recognised by luxury boat manufacturers; by 1978, our covers were already being
used by Sunseeker, thus cementing our position as reliable suppliers of
high-end yacht covers.
It wasn’t long before Flexicovers won contracts to supply Princess and Fairline,
and the business continued to go from strength to strength. Our top quality,
innovative products are now designed and manufactured from our state-of-the art
UK production facility, located at our factory in Poole, Dorset.
We employ a select team of 40 highly skilled professionals, with our covers
assembled in situ at our factory by our expert sewing department. We utilise
CNC cutting and tube bending facilities alongside high frequency PVC welding
to ensure we meet our rigorous quality control procedures.

always been known for, right from when our company began half a century ago.

Innovative Product Design
We work closely with boat builders in the design and manufacture of our covers, using CAD technology alongside 3D modelling to ensure a perfect fit. We have an extensive library of CAD templates which allows us to perfectly retro fit boat covers and biminis. At Flexicovers, we offer a complete design, manufacturing and fitting service for hydraulic and manually operated biminis and awnings, supplying genuine replacement covers for Sunseeker, Princess and Fairline.
We stock a full range of materials including; Sunbrella, Valmex, WeatherMax, Sunsilk and Mesh and use 316 stainless steel fabrication with a super marine finish.
